Deb - I'm 29 weeks Pregnant and my baby is in breech position

Hi Deb,
my name is Talia and i'm 29 weeks pregnant with a breech baby. I would like to avoid a C-section if i can and was suggested to see an Accupuncture to help my baby turn.
I live on the upper west side, close to the Prenatal Yoga Center and was wondering if :
A) you could give me your recommendation of an acupuncture (if you know of one in the area).
B) You have another suggestion as to what i could do to turn my baby with out a phisical intervention.

thanks so much,
best,
Talia.

Hi Talia,

I am glad that you are being proactive about getting your baby into the vertex position. Although, most doctors and midwives are not particularly concerned about the baby's position until around 32-34 weeks.

However, you can look for ideas to help your little one head downwards on the blog "Explanation of Fetal Positions"

As for an acupuncturist, I usually recommend Francis Goodwin. Her number is 212 414 0388.

Take care,

Deb
