In order to best service our clients, we gather as much information as possible, so as to make every babysitting session a seamless transition. It is as important to know what your child’s stuffed animal or blankie is named as it is to know their favorite foods. If it is important to you, it is important to us!! In order to make this possible we offer the following services:

An introductory in-home interview:

Allow Vanessa to introduce Sensible Sitters to you “by face”. We match our babysitters to families based on personalities, experience, and proximity to clients and this interview allows us to better understand a family’s needs and ensure the best match possible is made. We understand that all families are unique and bring their individual needs, help us to celebrate your family!

We provide Resumes and References:

This is a very crucial step in our matching process. We introduce every babysitter by resume and with references. This allows for you to familiarize yourself with the babysitter we have chosen for you before meeting them. Feel free to call a reference…or three…that is what they are there for!!

Interview Babysitters:

Once reviewing resumes that have been hand-picked to suit your family’s needs, we invite you to set up interviews with any babysitter whom you would like to meet. We do offer interview guidelines and ask that you keep this session to under an hour. This enables clients to watch how a babysitter interacts with their child and feel comfortable with them before leaving them alone.

Sensible Sitters strives to match you with a babysitter or two who may become familiar with your family and your child’s needs. Take this opportunity to go over routines and show your babysitter where to locate essential childcare products throughout your home.
