Dr. Ellen Coyne has been practicing Chiropractic and serving our community for nearly 20 years. She is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College. She is licensed by the New York State Department of Education and the National Broad of Chiropractic.
She is currently the President Emeritus of the New York Chiropractic Council after serving as the Chairman of the Board from 1998-2002. The New York Chiropractic Council is the largest statewide chiropractic organization and was most implemental in passing the Insurance Equality Bill. This bill provides assurance that all New York State residents are entitled to chiropractic care through their insurance companies.
After September 11, 2001, Dr. Coyne was the Chiropractic Coordinator to the nationwide participants for all the chiropractic services at Ground Zero. She actively organized four respite centers at Ground Zero with chiropractors from around the country that came to New York to provided chiropractic services to about 500 policemen and firemen and other volunteers per day for nine months.
For the convenience of her patients, Dr. Coyne is an in-network provider for all major insurance companies.
Dr. Ellen Coyne is also an active member of the International Chiropractic Association, The Women' Medical Association of New York City and New York Academy of Sciences.
