Moms to Be - "ACOG [The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists] continues its trend of promoting exercise among women before, during and after pregnancy. Although in previous decades doctors restricted the amount and type of exercise by pregnant women, today the emphasis is on promoting exercise during pregnancy, so long as certain precautions are followed."*
It is recommended to engage in at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. Some of the benefits are, increased energy, improved circulations, posture and muscle tone and help reduce the chance of gestational diabetes.
New Moms - Daily exercise can help firm up your body and restore muscle tone. Exercise releases endorphins, which will make you less tired because it raises your energy level and improves your sense of well-being.
