Moms-to-Be:
Labor Support Doula. A labor support doula is a nurturing, non-judgmental woman that offers emotional and physical support through out your labor and birth. Since the doula is educated about childbirth, she can offer insight and information about interventions and procedures that may arise as well as implementing non-medical pain- management techniques.
New Moms:
Postpartum Doula: A postpartum doula is a nurturing, non-judgmental woman who will come into your home and help you ease into the transition of motherhood. She will offer practical information on newborn care and support for breastfeeding. The postpartum doula can also takes care of necessary household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and errand running.
