Reasons for these problems: irregular and unsupervised practice, holding the breath beyond the body’s capacity, practicing sessions of pranayama which are too long, no discipline in the daily routine, lack of knowledge about which practices are contraindicated in certain illnesses e.g. if a person suffers with asthma or TB they should practice pranayama under supervision only.

I have been a student in yoga goddess Deb's classes since I was pregnant ---and she was one of the first smiling faces to greet Owen when he arrived. We are big fans of the prenatal yoga center! I am a dancer and have a fitness training business in the West Village.
