Hello fellow moms and moms-to-be,
Choosing a pediatrician you trust and feel comfortable with is a very important decision all parents need to make. As a new mom and pediatrician who just joined a long-standing pediatric practice in the Soho/Noho/Village area, I wanted to introduce myself and put the word out about our practice. At LaGuardia Place Pediatrics, we pride ourselves on spending a lot of time with parents and children- actually scheduling 45 minutes per well child visit. The 15 or 20 minutes that many offices schedule just isn't enough! We are also happy that we have very short wait times and don't let our waiting room get crowded (no one wants to pick up a cold at the doctor's office!). We have 3 pediatricians, all with different areas of expertise. There is always a doctor on call, and no question is too small or silly. As the newest doctor in the practice, I'm looking for and excitedly accepting newborns and babies, along with children and teens of any age. I also do prenatal consults (which I highly recommend for all soon to be parents) in which we can meet each other and you can ask any questions in order to see if we are a good fit.
