Hello,
Does anyone know of a pediatrician in Manhattan (preferably UES) who would support a more relaxed child vaccination schedule? I'd like to work with someone who would be open to evaluating the pros and cons of each vaccine rather than just adopting the CDC regime.

I am also concerned about the vaccination issue and found a very good book, it's called "The Vaccine Book" by Dr. Robert Sears (Pediatrician). He describes each vaccine, each disease, pros and cons and also gives an alternative vaccination schedule. He has a homepage where also "Vaccine Friendly" doctors are listed. There is one in NYC, here is the link. Haven't tried him, I am still pregnant but maybe it's good to know that there is at least one...
