Hi there,

I am looking for any experiences regarding Dr. Karl Heinz Moehlen or Lenox Hill Hospital in general. Thanks in advance for your stories! My doctor just left her practice, and I have to get a new one in mid-pregnancy.

i don't know dr moehlen, but i delivered at lenox hill in jan 2007. it was exceptional, i actually wrote a letter to the CEO of the hospital and named each nurse that assisted me. my sister delivers always at mt sinai, and she came to see me and said Lenox Hill looked better.
My doctor is the most wonderful in the world, Dr Lyndon Chang, but he just left the practice. His colleagues, Dr Jackie Worth and Edmund Kaplan, are both good (but no dr chang, i just loved the man). I trust them implicitly medically - it is just he had a wonderful bedside manner. Worth is very very smart, but a little icy. It is really hard to get an appt with her. Kaplan is a lovely man, i know someone who said he was great in the delivery room.
Someone told me the only places to have a baby in NY are Columbia Presbyterian, Lenox Hill, Mt Sinai or NYU.
