Hi I am in need of a doctor. I live in Woodside near the Elmhurst hospital. This is my second pregnancy and I am really nervous about it.
We had our first baby in Guadalajara, Mexico with a wonderful "natural birthing" doctor and with the assistance of a Doula. I went 41 weeks and was ready for the water birth but had to have an emergency C-section last minute due to placenta rupturing. Despite being a C-section, i was allowed to watch, and keep the baby immediately afterwards while being sutured up.
I have heard to many stories of "restricted" births here in the US and am hoping for better.
I am looking for a Dr/Midwife and a birthing center/hospital that will allow me to do a VBAC and that does not put restrictions on movement during labor. Since we do not have a car, I do prefer someting close by.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Krystal
