Maria's photographs have been published in the United States and Europe. In addition to her individual portraiture clients, her corporate and commercial clients include: American Red Cross of Greater New York, United Way of New York City, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Covenant House, Institute for Community Living, Trust for Public Land, Barnes & Noble, Pfizer, and New York State Department of Economic Development.

Maria studied Photography at the International Center of Photography and studied Psychology at Goucher College and New York University. She is a member of the National Arts Club and the Camera Club of New York. She lives in New York City.
