I am a Mom of a 5 month old beautiful girl, Audrey Matilda. We adopted her at birth and are in a wonderful open adoption. I have been collecting breast milk from Milk Share: Birthing for Life and just started on Eats for Feet on Facebook. Both amazing resources. I have also connected with various Mom's by just putting the word out there! I am a regular at Mommy and Baby Yoga classes on the UWS and I love them! As I sat there the other day and watched all of you wonderful Mom’s breast feeding your babes, I wondered how many of you may have an excess of breast milk and did not know what to do with it!?
I tried to breast feed. I took herbs and domperidone and pumped for two months prior to her birth. And it worked! However, I am a breast cancer survivor and only had one breast that would create milk…..and only a snacks worth at best! It was wonderful to experience breast-feeding for a short while, but I was never able to satisfy her, so I eventually gave up. She was able to drink formula and donated breast milk for the first few months. I am now running low on the breast milk and am looking for new donations!
My reason for posting here is to see if there is anyone local who may have a supply they were looking for a home for. Audrey would gladly drink it up! I also want to spread the word about the amazing resources for donating and collecting breast milk.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. If you are interested in connecting with me you can email me directly at

The best to all of you,
