I "heart" New York: A Love Story is looking for pregnant couples expecting their first child between March and July.
I "heart" New York: A Love Story is a documentary film about love through the five boroughs. We're looking to explore the different dynamics of love in New York and are particularly interested in speaking to pregnant couples, ideally about to have their first child, with a due date this spring or early summer (between March and July). Through an intimate, yet non-invasive, approach to documentary filmmaking we would like to explore a couple's experience, together and as individuals, through the pregnancy and birth of their first child.
We want to emphasize that this is feature film meant for theatrical release and not a reality show. Our goal is to make a tasteful and uplifting film about real New York love stories that reflects the diversity of this city of 8.2 million people. (The tone will be Nora Ephron meets Woody Allen)
Below I've included a synopsis of the film and background information on our director. I'm also including a link to our website where you can watch a 10-minute trailer we shot in February to give you a sense of the tone and style of the film.
Moving forward, we would love to speak to anyone who might be interested in participating and answer any questions they might have. You can reach me via email (kate@iheartnewyorkthemovielcom) or at our office: 212.255.4099. You can also reach my colleague Sarah at

Thank you so much for your time and look forward to hearing from you!

About the Film: "I Heart New York: A Love Story" is a documentary feature film that explores the triumphs and struggles of finding love, losing love, and keeping love in a city of 8.2 million people.
The film will follow real life New York love stories, and will be an exploration of love's journey across the backdrop of people and places that make up New York City, the most culturally diverse city in the world.
The film will begin shooting in December 2008 through July, and most likely into the fall of 2009.
About the filmmaker:
Jill Andresevic started her filmmaking career at Wieden & Kennedy in Portland Oregon 10 years ago producing award winning Nike campaigns.
From 2006 to 2008, Andresevic has written, produced and / or directed a series of documentary film shorts for Cadillac, including shorts featuring William H. Macy, Jay Leno, Travis Barker, Joan Jett, Coach K, and Meg Ryan. In this intensive 24-month timeframe, Andresevic created more than 50 documentary film shorts, and the content from those shorts made the YouTube branded channel for Cadillac the 5th most watched branded channel on YouTube in February 2008.
"I Heart New York: A Love Story" is Andresevic's first feature documentary film and is represented by the William Morris Agency, in Los Angeles.
