I am expecting my second child in about 5 weeks and will be home from work for four weeks before the baby comes. I have a full time nanny for my son, and I am apprehensive about how things will work with me and the nanny being home together. I have no doubt it will cramp her style, but I want to make sure that the two of us around together is as pleasant as possible. Any suggestions? Also, can anyone let me know what the going raise is for a nanny when a second child comes along? Thanks much for your responses.

I have the same fears about working from home with a nanny present, esp. since our space is not conducive for me to hide. I think the solution may be to try to send them out as much as possible!

I attended a class at the pnc that said you usually add $3 per hour to the current nanny rate if you have another child. Or something else I read said $50-$100 a week to a salaried position. Hope that helps.
