Our mission with this community is to provide all of you with trusted information and support from your peers and service providers in the NYC area.
We believe that a transparent environment will provide for a more fulfilling experience. That doesn’t mean that we want you all to give out your full names and email addresses (we have ways of safe-guarding that info). It means that through participation, members and service providers will be able to build a presence and reputation in the community. This will help create a bond of trust. Below are some of our goals:
- Create the most comprehensive resource list in the NYC area that can be openly rated and reviewed by the community.
- Create an environment where community members can communicate and support each other during the difficult and wonderful times of pregnancy and beyond.
- Allow community members access to communicate freely with NYC service providers, especially ones that do not have a community web presence of their own. Please note that we are not endorsing unsolicited advertising in discussion. Our member experience is top priority.
- Educate our members on how to get the most out of this site.
