Hello families! My name is Krysta and I am in search of a great nannying position here in NYC. I have over 10 years experience babysitting and 3 years experience nannying. When I was about 13 years old I started developing my local clientele base in my neighborhood of Charlotte, NC. I was a camp counselor for three summers at the JCC with 3-yr-olds while I was still living at home. Also, I was a live-in nanny for 8-month old twin girls in Fire Island the summer of 2006.

Once I went to college, I started babysitting and part-time nannying in Columbia, SC, my college town. I watched one of my professor's four children and a prominent doctor's child over the course of my four years in school. While in college, I took a semester off and moved to NYC to intern in the fashion industry and started to babysit in the city for my boss's friend. After college I moved back to Charlotte and became a nanny for a family with two school-aged children for 9 months until they were of age to stay home by themselves and then I moved on to a family with 15-month old twin girls for a few months until they were put into daycare for socialization reasons. I then started working at a preschool in Charlotte floating between ages 3-months to 5 years which was a great experience and I stopped after four months only because I got an industry job outside of childcare.

Now that I am back in the city I want to continue my career in childcare and become a career nanny. I have always gone back to children and find that inspiring young minds is what I want to do. Experiencing the world through a child's eyes is a special experience and I can't wait to get back into the groove of things.
