Nanny Referral Any Location - Amazing nanny available

I have had the pleasure of having Pam Minors as my nanny for the past 3 years. I truly cannot say enough good things about her and I am completely heartbroken that we are lost her when we moved to Connecticut in July.
I met Pam just before I gave birth to my son, who just turned 3. Even during our first meeting, I knew there was a strong connection. She had come incredibly highly recommended from her previous two employers, one family with whom she worked for 2.5 year and the next with whom she had worked for 8. Each of the moms described the woman who I have grown to love over the past 3 years. I actually found her on this list from the last mom she worked for!
Pam has been a true blessing to our family. She has helped me learn how to be a mom to my two young children. She has a wonderful, quiet wisdom about her and my children adore her. In the time she has worked for us, I have never had to worry about my children’s safety or development. When my now 2 year old was a baby, she found playgroups with other similarly aged children. Now that he is older, she easily transports him and our 5 month old to school, soccer, music, etc. Her experience taking care of 3 children for families in the past well-suited her for the challenges of having 2 kids under 2.5! She has been very respectful of my wishes about food choices, schedules, naptime, and TV rules. When we recently potty-trained our son, she was instrumental in making it an easy process. She is terrific with infants and interacts beautifully with our newest baby. She also has been remarkable at diffusing any of the "sibling rivalry" that might have happened when our youngest baby arrived by making sure she paid extra special attention to our older child.
In addition to the tremendous care she has provided my kids, she also makes sure that the house is always clean and tidy. It is always a pleasure coming home to know that my kids will be happy and I won’t have to spend the few hours I have with them in the evening putting away toys and doing laundry.
In every aspect of her work, she always goes above and beyond without my asking. On the early days after my second baby was born and she knew I was exhausted, she would quickly make my bed and straighten up my room while I played with my older son. She has an amazing ability to intuit what our family needed and when.
Pam has always been very flexible and amenable to our schedules. My husband and I both work fairly long hours and travel a good bit – she’s always willing to stay late, come early, and even has spent the night on occasions. She never calls in sick.
Pam has two grown children. I have met them both and they are clearly a very close family. She grew up in St. Vincent (near Barbados) and lives in Brooklyn with her husband.
We are absolutely heart-broken that Pam cannot join us in CT and I know the next family that hires her will be as happy as we have been.
I am more than happy to answer any questions you have and can put you in touch with Pam directly. Her cell phone is 347-439-4056. I also know her previous two employers, with whom she is still close, would be happy to provide any additional detail. My email address is
jbailey@rbf.org and cell phone is 708-261-3695.
Sincerely,
Jessica Bailey
