Hello,
My name is Dawne Roberts I'm interested in the position.
I live in West Harlem.
I've worked as a nanny for a little over 20yrs now, im 38yrs.
I'm a highly motivated individual a team player at best, whom has cared and nurtured infants and young children of various ages ( 2 months to 11yrs). However most of the children I've cared for has been infants and toddlers. I've cared for two to three kids at a time twins and different ages.
I'm hard working, reliable, friendly, fun, honest, easygoing, kind and full of energy!
My dreams and aspirations involve furthering my education so that I can play a role in caring for the whole family one day!
For me caring for children is not just a job but a love I have for children plus I've worked only as a nanny since the age of 18 so really they are in many ways my life inspiration.
As I've observed over the years parents want to know that their loved one is happy, safe, developing and emotionally secure. I can guarantee you that I am capable of this care!
All my children whom I have cared for in the pass grew very happy with me and I made certain they had fun while developing from mild stone to mild stone!
We played, played and more play. going to the park, on the swings, sprinklers, sand box, jungle gym, slides, kick ball, play catch, climb the mountain, lay around on the grass, bookstore, library, play spaces. We role around on the floor read books, look at pictures, talk, run, sing, dance, build blocks, knock it down, climb, jump, play with dolls, toy cars and more more....
I'm also willing and able to do some housekeeping
My qualifications include CPR training
Nanny Certificate
Some college- early childhood education little but intense and helpful
Doula workshops- birth and postpartum
