Previous work experience: 2006-2007: one year, short term agreement to care for two girls ages three months and three year old as a live in nanny in Long Island. Duties included: preparing healthy meals for toddler, bottle feedings for baby, recording daily schedule of baby’s feedings, nap times, children, daily log of activities, time spent out playing at park, play dates, children’s laundry, engaging preschool aged child in educational activities such as counting, identifying colors, arts and crafts activities, reading to both children daily, tummy time activities and music time for baby.
2007-2009: One year and a few months working with two year old twins in Upper Manhattan prior to family relocating. Taking children to classes, play dates, indoor play time and plenty of park time.
2009-2010:One year agency placement to work for a family in Hoboken New Jersey with two children one three year old special needs and a two year old sibling. Aiding and supervising therapy sessions with three year old weekly, cooking healthy balanced meals for the entire family, entire house hold laundry, taking children to classes, grocery shopping, cleaning up apartment, play dates, indoor play time and learning activities recorded on a log to show to parents each day.

2011-Eight months as a full time live out Nanny for a three month old and three year old in Hoboken New Jersey prior to the family moving. Daily full time care for three month old and some part time after school childcare for three year old. Recording naps, urine and bowel movements, recording reading time twice daily, plenty of park time and outdoor time. Tummy time play with baby, building blocks, children’s laundry, transitioning baby from bottle feedings to early finger foods and solids.
2011- One month, three weeks care for a family who were transitioning from having a four year nanny to either full time or part time. Folded house hold clothes, bathed and fed children, cooked meals, took both of them to and from school (3 and a half year old and six year old), took them to ballet, hockey, swimming, gym, cooked meals for the whole family, keeping cabinets clean, grocery shopping, play dates. Family are still trying to figure out if they would like full time or part time, mutual agreement between nanny and mom that she is analyzing her needs as to what she really needs. Nanny was given severance pay as well as reference. Nanny is seeking full time and long term so needs to be able to meet that need.
Other Qualities: easy going, calm, dedicated individual. Speaks fluent English, French Creole and some French. Easy to communicate with and can guarantee a total of more than four years commitment to a great family.
