Great Baby Nurse - Available December
I am writing this post to recommend Alicia, my baby nurse. She will be completing her assignment with me at the end of November, and will be available in December. Alicia is truly a find! Alicia started as my 24-hour baby nurse when my twin boys were 2 weeks old. I convinced her to stay on as my full-time nanny, with occasional overnights (as I request), until my twins turn 4 months old (that way they will be fully sleep trained and through the more challenging periods).
Alicia has years of experience with singletons and multiples. She is caring and trustworthy, and has a great personality and pleasant demeanor, handling all my twins could throw at her with smiles and sweet responses. My twins had a colicky stage, and needed a good deal of attention which Alicia gave constantly. She accommodated each twin, working specifically with their very different personalities. She is energetic and has amazing stamina, yet plans strategically when she needs to get her rest (like when the twins are asleep). Alicia is neat and polished, and that is evidenced by the way she maintains my twins’ appearance and nursery.
Alicia is respectful of my wishes and preferences, and yet willing to share her experiences and techniques with me to yield better results. This created a collaborative, team-oriented environment. At the same time, she has the ability to caregive singlehandedly when required.
Alicia converted to my full-time nanny when the twins were about 6 weeks old. She has a solid work ethic, and as a nanny, has been incredibly reliable, never an excuse and always showing up on time and leaving after her scheduled departure time as needed.
