I just want to give you a little history about myself and my experience in the child care business.
I have worked with children ranging from the ages of one month to thirteen years of age for the past seven years. I am flexible and reliable. I am available Mon-Sat at anytime.

For the last two years I had the pleasure of working with a family who had two beautiful children; a eight year old boy and a four year old girl. My responsabilities included:
1. Picking up the children from their school.
2. Serving light snacks.
3. Assisting with homework and projects.
4. Performing activities until the parents returned home.

Prior to that I worked with a bright young three year old, Sara Kate for approximately two years before her parents moved out of state. With Sara Kate my responsabilities included:

2. Performing daily routines, such as baths, and dressing.

4. Handling light housekeeping, to assist the parents with their daily load.

Hello my name is Latoya I'm 25 years old and I am a child care provider (Nanny-Housekeeper) I have been taking care of children for about ten years and house keeping for over 3 years. I've worked with children from the ages of 6 weeks to 13 years old. I was working for a family on 14Th St (NYC). Union Sq. for a over 3 years with a new born and a 2 year old when i started, they are now 3 1/2 and 5 1/2. But they had to relocate up state and did not have room for a live-in and that would have been too much of a every day commute for me. But I did find another job right on the west side of 14Th St. as a after school nanny but as of 5/12/08 one of the parents lost her job so she didn't need me any more (sad on both ends) and that lasted for about 3 month. I love taking care of children between the ages of new born to 6 years old. And to have the opportunity to work with special need children would be plus for me and I would be great full for it.
I took a small vacation in SC where my family is from, and now I am working for a family in the Bronx but we commute from the Bronx to Manhattan, 14th St union sq. where Little Presley goes to school and have her play dates, but this job is part time and i really rather a LONG TERM full or part time position live in or out. So i need an additional job or a new one all together. I really love what I do and I take great compassion in it.

I am a very sweet, confident, dedicated, kind, giving, easy to get along with kind of person. I love to crochet, sew, dance and read and I am also a license child care provider and I am currently in school. I am looking for something long term but if not that's fine.
