Hello my name is Latoya Turner I'm 25 years old and I am a child care provider (Nanny-Housekeeper) I have been taking care of children for about 10 years and house keeping for over 5 years. I've worked with children from the ages of 4 weeks to 13 years old. I was working for a family on 14Th St . Union Sq (NYC) for over 3 years with a new born and a 2 year old when i started, they are now 6 and 8 . But they had to relocate up state and did not have room for a live-in and that would have been too much of an every day commute for me. But I did find another job right on the west side of 14Th St. as a nanny/housekeeper and this is my current position. I have been with this family for 3 years come next month. When I started this position Presley (the little girl I take care of) was only just a week old and she is now 3 years old. I really love my family that I am currently with but they are not going to need me any more as of March 1. Unfortunately for me one of the parents will not be working any more and that is the reason.
I like taking care of children between the ages of new born to 6 years old. And to have the opportunity to work with special need children would be plus for me and I would be great full for it that experience. I love what I do and I take great pride in it. Out of all my friends and family I am the only one who can say "I love my job" and mean it lol.
I am a very sweet, confident, dedicated, kind, giving, easy to get along with kind of person. I love to crochet, sew, dance, sing and read, I am also a license child care provider and I am currently in school on the weekend. I am looking for something long term but if not that's fine.
