Hi. I am the mother of two boys, a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 week old infant. With the addition of the new baby, we are looking for a nanny/babysitter to take care of either child approximately 20-25 hoursa week M-F. There is also an opportunity for additional regular weekend hours (8 hours each Sat/Sun) if this is of interest, but not required. Duties would include, picking my 2 year old up from school, taking him to playdates, the museum or the park, feeding and bathing him, and general care of the baby.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to work Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm, and flexible hours on Tuesdays or Thursdays. I'm a full-time working mother who will be working from home on Fridays. We are also looking for regular help on Saturdays and Sundays, so if one or both of these weekend days is of interest to you, that's great. If not, we can look for a separate weekend nanny/babysitter. I'm mentioning both in case someone is looking for 40+ hrs and doesn't mind working weekends and having 2 weekdays off.

We have an existing nanny who has been with us for 17 years (my husband has 2 grown teenaged children from his first marriage) and she has trouble getting around because she has a bad knee. So, the job is primarily to take care of 1 child at a time while she takes care of the other. I'm sure our current nanny would be happy to talk with you about her positive experience working for our family and caring for my older son.
