We moved out of the city in mid-August and want to help our fantastic nanny Carol to find a new position. She has been taking care of our son Max since he was 12 weeks old until he was 2. She put him on a schedule, took him to classes and the pediatrician, organized day trips, taught him English (we are a French family) and basic sign language, kept a detailed log of his days, etc.

She is passionate about her job and her responsibilities. She is a professionnal nanny, not a babysitter. She put Max on a schedule which meant spending hours holding him until he was ready to fall asleep in his crib. She fully supported my breastfeeding and pumping. She took him out for strolls, rain or shine. She immediately requested books so she could read to him and he developed a strong interest in them at a very young age. He is now attending a Montessori daycare and the teachers have told me several times how impressed they are with his language skills. I know he speaks very well for his age thanks to Carol who spent her days interacting with him. As he grew, she organized day trips and play dates. She taught him limits and good manners; It is quite telling that one of his first words was "thank you". She never missed a pediatrician visit and always asked very pertinent questions to the doctor to make sure Max would get the best care.

Finally, she has a great personality and many people in the neighboorhood have approached me to tell me they had seen Max "so happy" "chatting away" with his babysitter.

She has been a great help for us, guiding us along the way. Not only was she very supportive, advising us on many subjects such as teething, babyproofing, feeding, etc., she even took my calls on the evenings when I had questions about Max.

I know Max misses her as he often mentions her.

We highly recommend her.
