I am a fully licensed and insured registered L&D and NICU nurse. I have worked at some of the finest New York hospitals. I have advanced degrees and certifications. I am a certified lactation consultant. I am a red cross cpr instructor. I am NRP and Nals certified. I care for moms postpartum needs, as well as those of the infant, preemies, multiples, and special needs. I will prepare family meals, shop, run errands related to mom and baby, and tidy. I will care for the infant overnight so mom and dad can sleep and rest. My credentials can be seen on the NYS Board of Nursing website. I am TB tested yearly, as a health care provider I receive a yearly seasonal flu vaccine and this year H1N1. This is protection for your precious unvaccinated infant. I cover completely postpartum and newborn teaching, first bath, cord and circumcision care, health concerns, when to call the pediatrician, feeding, sleeping and soothing techniques, safety, immunizations, normal growth and development.
