Any Location - Amazing nanny available (lengthy post) UPDATE: no longer available

UPDATE: Christine has found a new home. Thank you for your inquiries.

Our wonderful nanny Christine is looking for a full-time position because I recently stopped working. She has been taking care of our son for nearly two years and we are so sad to see her go. I truly can't say enough good things, but below I tried to describe why we love her so much.

Christine is one of the most loving, patient and caring people I know. She is very reliable (generally arrives early, and always with a smile) and completely trustworthy.

She is exceptionally knowledgeable on the topic of newborn, infant and toddler care and development. She is excellent at performing everyday tasks and we also believe our son reached some developmental milestones early because of her expertise and tenacity.

She is very attentive, not at all one of those nannies who mindlessly talks on her cell w/o focusing on the kids. She constantly gets on the floor and plays with our son and she also encouraged independence as he grew older.

She arranges loads of play dates with other like minded nannies who have kids the same age as our son. She enjoys taking our son to classes (even if she doesn't know anyone, she is super friendly) and she often seeks out new activities.

She is intelligent, a great problem solver and exceptionally creative. She constantly comes up with unique and clever ideas. She is also very observant. For example, she often tells me a little thing she notices another mom doing that she thinks might be helpful for us to try.

She loves reading and singing. She constantly talks to our son in ways that first helped with comprehension and then later with speech. She also encourages our son to interact with others and be mindful of the world around him.

She is very concerned about our son's well being. She has often been the first to notice that he was coming down with something and always knows just what to do. She is also very attentive of medical advice, carefully following dosage instructions, etc.

One other huge plus for me at the beginning was that Christine was exceptionally attentive to *my* needs in addition to our son's. She had no problem with me calling her numerous times throughout my work day and updating me on everything I wanted to hear. She constantly took photos and videos and loved chatting about how we could work together to help my son.

A couple other notes:
Christine's previous job was working with a stay at home mom and she enjoys working collaboratively with parents (and yet she is completely capable of doing everything on her own)

Most of her previous experience had been with twins and multiples (which is probably why she is so creative and efficient)
