She has 11 years experience and is trustworthy, caring, and my 2 and 1/2 year old and newborn both light up when she is in the room. Dear Marella, I saw your post that you highly recommend your nanny who will be available beginning in August. I have a four month old and will be returning to work the beginning of August. I will be part-time for three months and then full-time, so am seeking the same for a nanny.

We live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan - 99th/Amsterdam. I would love to hear more about your nanny and possibly contact her for an interview. The most important things to me are that she be:

• Safety-conscious/cautious/with excellent judgment
• Loving/warm/nurturing
• Stimulating/reading to, playing with baby, arranging playdates

Ideally, we would like someone who could do some light housekeeping, but the above is most important, Can you let me know about your nanny w/respect to the above? Does she have kids? Where does she commute from?
