I have 24 years hospital and professional experience caring for mother's in labor and their infants in the NICU. I am NALs (NRP) certified. I am a wife and mother of four children. I have many years as a head nurse , researcher, supervisor and educator......I require a one week full time minimum please. No contracts or deposit required.
I care for mother's postpartum and medical needs. I care for the infant overnight or bring the baby for nursing. I am a certified lactation consultant. I can handle most issues or difficulties that arise while nursing. Poor latch, engorgement,multiples, poor suck, clogged ducts, preemies and more. I care for preemies, infants on monitors, or o2, multiples. I will travel with parents who are using a surrogate to pick up the infants.
I do a great deal of postpartum education. I cover immunizations, safety issues, when to call the pediatrician, formula prep, normal growth and development, breast feeding, starting solids, product recomendations, nursery restock and organization, scheduling, sleep training (older infants) and much much more...
I am a licensed cpr instructor and as part of my service, I will teach CPR to all new parents and grandparents. I will train the incoming nanny and other staff members if appropriate.
I am fully licensed and insured . I have many advanced degrees and certifications. As part of professional quality care...I am up to date and provide a copy of my immunization record to protect your unvaccinated and unprotected infant. I do this yearly.
