Nanny Referral UWS - Our Top Notch Nanny: Available FT Aug 9

Hi Fellow Moms,
If you know of any one that is looking for a excellent, A+, liveout nanny in Manhattan, please have them email me. We have to part ways with our nanny, Pam, this summer as we are leaving the city. Pam has 15+ years of significant experience- she is a top professional nanny and her three previous families also rave about her and still come into the city to see her. She will be available on Aug 9. She is looking for Full Time only, and she is allergic to dogs/cats, and loves starting out with an infant!

Here are some notes that my husband wrote about Pam (we are very upset to part with her!). We are so grateful that we have Pam. She made my wife's transition back from maternity leave manageable, and in very short time became a trusted member of our family. If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to meet Pam and introduce her to your child’s life, don’t bother with interviewing any other candidate.
  • Pam will be supremely focused on your child – you’ll neither see her chatting on a cell-phone while strolling nor watching television while your child is sleeping. She keeps our place spotless and is always very respectful.
  • Pam’s dedication, punctuality and consistency on the job will encourage you to work harder too. Pam never missed a day or was late to our home, even when dealing with emergencies or confronting treacherous weather.
  • Pam will teach your child how to identify objects, how to say words, how to crawl and laugh. And Pam will also share with you what she learns about your child, and teach you how to be a better parent as a result.
  • Pam has a wonderful sense of calmness, and an amazing sense of humor and adventure. She is always on the floor playing with James, singing to him, reading him a book- she taught him how to kick a ball and identify and say "bus" before James even turned 12 months.
  • Pam will work hard and efficiently, but will maintain a high-energy level and attentively listen to what your expectations are for child-care. In our case, Pam took care to write a daily journal listing our son’s meals, where they walked, what he laughed about and what types of foods he liked best. And our place was always spotless when we returned home.
  • And finally, Pam is a great networker and generous conversationalist. This is a critical characteristic to recognize. The doormen like her, the neighbors like her, other nannies enjoy her company, and she will be able to develop friendships for your child with other babies in your community.
If it were not for our pending move out of New York City, there is no question we would continue to keep Pam in our life. I dread the day we say good-bye, and get a pinch in my throat every time I think about it. However, we feel so grateful to have been blessed with her care. You can call Pam directly at 646-407-9581 or email me if you are interested: leahcfogarty@gmail.com.
Best,Leah Fogarty
