My partner and I are looking for a full-time nanny on the Upper West Side for our 8 month old boy.
His current nanny is going back to Columbia's Graduate School of Social Work the first week of September and we need someone to start between September 1 and September 6.
The child's mother is away during the week and I work from my home office doing public relations/communications for a government agency most week days, but my job requires me to be in Washington, DC for a few days every month.
We are seeking a nanny who is bilingual, and does not have English as a first language, experienced, flexible, caring, knowledgeable about care for infants, as well as early childhood education and development, and is interested in long-term employment, and, more importantly, becoming a part of someone else's family.

She would show him picture books and before he could speak he would indentify pictures. She also initiated standing regular playdates, which has resulted in my son's frist real friendship.
