Our former nanny is looking for a job and I want to do everything possible to make sure she lands in a great place. Mary worked for us for several years when our second child was almost two and our third one was an infant until both girls were in school full-time. She is great with children and babies and we always welcomed her steady calm care into our home. As a male gay couple it was especially reassuring to have a female with our kids who would remain in their lives always and trust me, our girls, now 7 & 9, ask to go to Mary's house on the weekends whenever they are free.
